Bowyer’s Showdown Victory Gives PEAK Double Exposure in All-Star Race
The biggest names in NASCAR fought for bragging rights and, oh yeah, a million dollars Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway as part of the annual NASCAR All-Star race. Clint Bowyer raced his way into the main event thanks to a dominating victory Friday during the All-Star Showdown. His Michael Waltrip Racing teammate, Brian Vickers, was already in the show due to his Cup Series win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last year. The duo ended the race seventh and eighth respectively with Bowyer’s finish being his best-ever in the All-Star race.
In other racing news, Don O’Neal had a strong night Saturday at LaSalle Speedway, racing his PEAK Late Model to a fifth-place finish while inaugural Stock Car Dream winner Patrick Staropoli was the top qualifier at Iowa Speedway, bringing his ride home in 15th after suffering mechanical issues.
The NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway were postponed to Monday due to inclement weather. Be sure to check PEAK’s Facebook and Twitter for John Force Racing results.
