Casey Kirwan Takes Home the Win!
The eNASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series regular season wrapped up at Bristol Motor Speedway with Clint Bowyer Racing’s Casey Kirwan taking the victory. Check out all the race highlights below.

NASCAR CUP SERIES
The next event on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule is the Southern 500 on Sunday, September 1st at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina.

NASCAR PEAK MEXICO SERIES
The next event on the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series schedule will be in San Luis Potosí on September 1st.
DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES
Thursday and Friday night saw preliminary features for Saturday’s Dirt Million in Mansfield, Ohio. Scott Bloomquist and Jonathan Davenport claimed feature victories Thursday night. Bloomquist held off PEAK’s Josh Richards and Brandon Sheppard, giving Richards the runner-up position. Friday night Brandon Sheppard and Mike Marlar won the Duel features earning $10,000 for their 30-lap victories and a guaranteed starting spot in Saturday night’s Dirt Million finale.
In Saturday night’s Dirt Million at Mansfield Motor Speedway, Brandon Sheppard took the race lead from Jonathan Davenport on lap 30 and led the rest of the way to take the win. Sheppard held off both Mike Marlar and Chase Junghans at the finish. Jimmy Owens and Ricky Weiss completed the top five.
PEAK’s Josh Richards finished thirteenth in the main event but still remains second in the series standings leading into the next event in Junction City, Kentucky on Friday, August 30th.
eNASCAR PEAK ANTIFREEZE iRACING SERIES
Casey Kirwan passed Zack Novak with five laps remaining to earn his first eNASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series victory as the series returned to Bristol Motor Speedway after a several-year hiatus. Kirwan, who started seventh, used lap traffic and the bottom groove to make the winning pass, giving Clint Bowyer Racing its first win in the process.
With five laps remaining, Kirwan used the bottom grove to complete his winning pass over Novak and extended the gap to 0.733 seconds at the finish. Michael Guest finished third, followed by Blake Reynolds and Taylor Hurst rounded out the top five.
The race also marked the end of the regular season with Blake Reynolds earning the regular season championship, beating out Ryan Luza, Bobby Zalenski, and Garrett Lowe. Darlington Raceway will host the opening race of the 2019 playoffs on Tuesday, August 27th.
